About junkyards in Mercedes

For selling a car in Mercedes, the two names to know are A Trejo and Almaraz Towing & Used Auto Parts, which either say they buy cars or hold a license to buy vehicles for dismantling. We found no pull-your-own yard in town and no chain lot. Sunday hours and online inventories never turned up for any Mercedes yard.

Two Mercedes yards hold a license, and EPA's records show a current stormwater permit for three. All of them sit in ZIP code 78570. Harlingen is 7 miles away, Progreso and Combes 9 each, and Donna 12, and the Texas title or a TxDMV certificate of authority covers a sale.
