Pulling your own parts

How much is a front bumper at a junkyard?

At a self-service yard, a front bumper costs well under $100. Pick Your Part's Tampa price list, read October 30, 2026, shows a front bumper cover at $40, or $52 with the optional guarantee. The metal reinforcement bar behind it is $34 plus a $5 core deposit. Self-service chains like this one post one price per part, so a bumper off a pickup costs the same as one off a compact car. Sales tax and any environmental fee come on top. You pull it yourself, so bring the tools for the clips and bolts. A full-service yard pulls the bumper for you and prices it by the vehicle and its condition, so expect to pay more there.
