About SL Auto Sales
Despite the Auto Sales name, the record shows a salvage and used-parts yard on Chippewa Drive. Its state parts recycler license runs until May 11, 2027. Hours begin at 8 Monday through Saturday; weekday closing is 5, Saturday's is 3, and Sunday stays dark. It takes card payments, and EPA's books carry a current stormwater permit. Sunshine Recycling is 0.2 miles away, and Pick N Pull, Dallas West sits 0.6 out.
Last verified Oct 29, 2026.
Hours, fees and rules can change. Check with the yard before you go.
Buying parts and selling a car at SL Auto Sales
Licensed to buy cars
Its TDLR license covers buying vehicles to dismantle.
Selling your car here
The Auto Sales name aside, SL never says it buys cars; its recycler license would allow buying vehicles to take apart. A 2.4-mile drive reaches Winn's Allstate Auto Parts in Grand Prairie, a yard that announces it buys cars.
